On April 21st 2005 FOTORELIEF partnered with the US Fund For UNICEF and held a silent photography auction and red-carpet event at MILK Gallery to raise money for the Tsunami disaster relief effort.  The event was hosted by Kyan Douglas and with donated signed, original prints, from one hundred and thirty-two of the world’s most respected photographers, the event raised over one hundred and fifty thousand dollars for the fund.  All of the proceeds from the event went directly to the US Fund For UNICEF and their efforts in the tsunami region.
